Jack's new production company!

Golden Beams Productions
Jack is currently in the process of creating his own production company. The company will focus on exploring the further reaches of musical expression.

He is planning to experiment in the field of electronica and live drum & bass. He also plans on laying down killer grooves on vinyl for DJs and experimentalists alike.


Meditation & Healing Music

Under this label jack will release his new line of music for meditation and healing practitioners. Soon to be released is his first LP titled;"Music in the Key of OM".

From the Hearts of the Masters

A soon to be released duet with Foday Musa Suso. Suso is a world-renown Kora player and Griot(musician/oral historian of the Mandingo people) from Gambia. He is well known for his collaborations with Herbie Hancock, Philip Glass Pharoah Saunders and The Kronos Quartet. Read his interesting history at fmsuso.com.

The duet are touring for the first time in Europe this October.


Marlui Duo

Marlui is a Brazilian singer/songwriter and musician, she is also the most acclaimed and recognized performer and researcher on music from the Brazilian Indians. She has worked with such legendary Artists as; Egberto Gismonti, Milton Nascimento, Jards Macalé, Gilberto Gil, Bugge Wesseltoft, Trilok Gurtu, Rodolfo Stroeter and Toninho Ferragutti.

Jack and Marlui have created a soon to be released CD of both written and improvised music that crosses many boundaries of music.


Don Alias Percussion Duo

Don and Jack have an extended history of playing together, from Miles Davis during his electric years, the Herbie Hancock Standards Band and on Jack's own recording of 'Oneness'. Now, for the first time they have recorded their own CD. Together, they create a fusion of killer grooves and improvisations.

A glimpse of their project as it developed in the recording studio along with their commentary on music, philosophy and their own personal history is available on a video called 'Talking Drummers'.
